A useful metal part begins with the right dimensions. We prepare sheet metal using cutting, bending or rolling to suit the drawing, material and intended use. A cover, an angle or a door detail may combine several processes; the drawing connects them.

Do I need a finished engineering drawing?
A dimensioned drawing is the clearest starting point. If you are still developing the idea, describe its use, approximate dimensions and any details that need to be decided.
Can a part be both cut and bent?
Yes. A part may require cutting followed by bending or rolling. The sequence is reviewed against its material, thickness and geometry.
What should a fabrication enquiry include?
Include the drawing, final dimensions, material, thickness and quantity. Mark bend directions, openings and any required tolerances.
