How is cutting different from engraving?
A through-cut removes material across its full thickness. Engraving works to a specified depth on the surface. Mark each operation clearly in the drawing.
Should I choose waterjet or CNC routing?
Start with the material, thickness and intended result. Those details, together with whether you need cutting or engraving, guide the process selection.
Can you review a design before I choose the material?
Describe the intended use and appearance, and the materials you are considering. The pattern and dimensions can then be reviewed against the appropriate processes.
